Description
Since 1958, Club Car has been manufacturing golf carts for a myriad of tasks that stem outside the typical golf course. For the specific segment of safety and LSV classification, Club Car developed the Villager 2+2 as its model of choice for a four seater. While the Villager has a different appearance than the precedent, the Villager is built of the same frame and includes added safety features and accessories to qualify it as an LSV. It is good to note that the Villager uses an aluminum frame which makes it good for coastal regions and high humidity areas in terms of being rust proof.
So, we know the Villager 2+2 is built on a Precedent chassis, however what makes it different. First off, there are some standard safety features such as 4 wheel drum brakes, seat belts, headlights, brake lights, and turn signals. One benefit this model has over the Villager 2 is that it includes an on board charger which allows you to plug it in anywhere you go with the use of a basic extension cord. In addition, it uses a 350 amp controller over the 250 amp controller used in a Precedent model.
